Everything you need to know about Readdle account

Last updated

Your Readdle Account is the account you use to sign in to Readdle apps and manage your subscription.

Documents and Calendars now use the same Readdle Account. If you use both apps, simply sign in with the same email address to access your subscription and bundle benefits.

Why use a Readdle account?

A Readdle account makes it easier to:

  • Access your subscription across supported Readdle apps.
  • Restore your purchases on a new device.
  • Use bundle subscriptions with a single account.

As more Readdle apps support Readdle accounts, you'll be able to use the same account across them.

How to create a Readdle Account?

Your Readdle Account gets created the moment you first sign in to Documents or Calendars.

If you already have a personal account in Documents, it automatically becomes your Readdle Account — no extra steps needed. Simply sign in to Calendars and get your first bundle.

Bundle subscriptions

A bundle subscription gives you access to both Documents and Calendars at a better price than subscribing to each app separately.

While you can use both apps without a Readdle Account, you'll need one to purchase and activate a bundle. Simply sign in with the same Readdle Account in both apps, and your subscription will be available automatically across your bundle.

Before you delete your account

If you have an active subscription, whether a bundle or a subscription within any individual Readdle App,  it's worth checking your subscription before deleting your Readdle Account.

To make sure you can enjoy the full subscription period you've already paid for, we recommend canceling your subscription first and waiting until it expires before deleting your account.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • Subscriptions purchased on our website: If you delete your Readdle Account, your subscription will be canceled automatically. Any remaining subscription time won't be available after your account is deleted.
  • Subscriptions purchased through the App Store: Deleting your Readdle Account doesn't cancel your App Store subscription. If you no longer want to renew it, you'll need to cancel it separately in your Apple Account settings.

Your privacy

Documents and Calendars use your Readdle Account to sign you in, restore your purchases, manage your subscriptions, and enable bundle subscriptions.

Only the information required to provide these features is shared between the apps.

If you'd like to learn more, you can read the  Privacy Notice for Documents and the Privacy Notice for Calendars.
